Horses to be nominated in order in which horses are to be ridden. 4. Full nomination fees must be received by COB Thursday 3rd October 2024 via cheque or direct deposit. Failure to do so by this date will result in a forfeit of nominations to competitors on the wait list. 5. The Chinchilla Campdraft Committee reserves the right to alter or amend the program in any way whatsoever. 6. The Committee reserves the right to refuse entries without any reason. 7. Changes to horse/rider must be done in writing at secretary’s office no later than one hour before each event begins and accompanied by a $20 change fee NO CHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED DURING EACH EVENT Horse/Rider Change Form attached to this program and available at the secretary’s office. 8. Campdraft competitors must hold themselves ready to compete at the advertised starting time on the day of the draft. Three calls will be made for competitors. If the competitor fails to appear nomination fees paid or due shall be forfeited to Chinchilla Campdraft Committee. 9. All competitors compete at own risk. 10. Program is ACA Affiliated & run in accordance with the ACA ‘General Information Competition Rules & Guidelines’ 11. ACA requires all Competitors to ensure all details mirror that of their ACA member and horse profiles, across all non Campdraft One nomination platforms. 12. Per ACA rule 9.4 The status of a horse winning a campdraft will be determined by the highest class of horse that competes with the exception of Juniors, Juveniles, Ladies, Old Buffers, Associates and Encouragement Campdrafts. The winner attains the status of the highest class of horse participating e.g. if one Open horse competes then it is classed as an Open draft. 13. Any competitor who wishes to lodge a complaint at an affiliated campdraft must lodge the complaint in writing with the Secretary of the host committee within one (1) hour of the incident taking place. A fee of $100 must be lodged with the complaint. If the complaint is dismissed by the Committee, the $100 is forfeited. 14. Any competitor who, in the opinion of the chief steward, deliberately mistreats or abuses stock will be disqualified from the event and also participating in any further events on the program. 15. All prize money listed is GST inclusive. 16. Refunds and prize money will be paid out by direct deposit following the event. Please ensure bank account details are current on Campdraft Central or submitted to the secretary prior to leaving the event. 17. Per ACA rule D5, a 100% refund of the nomination fee will be given if the competitor withdraws more than 168 hours (7 days) prior to 8:00am on the first morning of the program. If a competitor withdraws less than 168 hours (7 days) prior to 8:00am on the first morning of the program, then the entire nomination fee may be retained by the committee. If the committee deems that extenuating circumstances apply, then a refund may be granted. Each case will be at the discretion of the committee. 18. Per ACA rule B5 (e) Riders under the age of 18 must wear Helmets whilst mounted on a horse at all ACA affiliated events. Helmets must comply with current safety standards and must be securely fastened under the chin at all times 19. All stallions are to be contained in accordance with Rule 11.12 of the ACA Rules 20.
